2011~2015年の間に通院した関節リウマチ患者を対象に、帯状疱疹について調査した。2005~2010年の前回調査と比較し、帯状疱疹の罹患しやすさに大きな変化はなかった。帯状疱疹罹患に影響する因子は、前回調査は高齢、ステロイド服用量、メトトレキサート服用であったが、今回は高齢、メトトレキサート服用、生物学的製剤使用であり、ステロイドの影響ははっきりしなかった。

好中球細胞外トラップス(NETs)形成の過程で産生されるシトルリン化ヒストンH3(cit-H3)は、抗CCP抗体が認識する対応抗原の1つです。将来的な関節リウマチ発症ハイリスク者の気道粘膜では、cit-H3産生を伴うNETs形成が亢進しており、気道でのIgA型抗CCP抗体産生と関連することを報告しました。

我々はリウマチ性の外反母趾に対する手術方法として第1中足骨近位回旋閉鎖式骨切り術という術式を開発し、2013年にModern Rheumatologyで良好な短期成績を報告していますが、今回矢野先生が最低観察期間5年の長期成績をまとめ、整形外科分野のトップジャーナルであるJ Bone Joint Surg Am.に報告することが出来ました。 第1中足骨近位回旋閉鎖式骨切り術を中心としたリウマチ前足部手術により、PROMがMCIDを超えて有意に改善し、画像的にも有意な改善を示し、再手術をエンドポイントとした生存曲線解析で6年で90%が再手術を回避出来ていることを示しています。

強皮症の皮下や筋膜組織内の石灰化は、晩期のCREST症候群で認められる。しかし、びまん皮膚硬化型の強皮症では早期の段階で石灰化が出現することをしばしば経験する。本研究で、当院に通院中の416名の強皮症患者においての石灰化の頻度は24%であった。石灰化と関連する強皮症の臨床症状は、びまん皮膚硬化型、抗Scl70抗体、爪郭部の出血であった。
